From Southern German Modernity to International Contemporary Art

The Daimler Art Collection in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim

until February 1st 2020

Mercedes-Benz site Stuttgart-Untertürkheim
Building 120, floors 1–12

The Daimler Art Collection, founded in 1977, presents in public areas of the new headquarter building at the Mercedes-Benz plant Stuttgart-Untertürkheim across twelve floors exemplary works from the Collection: from classical Southwest German Modernism around 1910/20 to international contemporary art, from painting and drawing to mixed media, from photography to sculpture. Floors 1–3 show our ties to the region with art from Stuttgart and Baden-Württemberg. German and European art from the 1960s to today can be seen on floors 4–6. Painting, drawing and photography from the USA, South Africa and China on floors 7-9 exemplify Daimler AG as a globally active company. Works from all main areas of 20th and 20st century art, as well as examples of the CARS series by Andy Warhol are presented on floors 10-12. The exhibition is only open to Daimler employees.
